Two of the most successful corporations in computing and electronic manufacturing have had a clandestine alliance for many years reinforcing each other’s productivity and success to form a quasi-transnational partnership spanning two vertically integrated business models whose market value combined would rank as the number 28th largest economy in the world . Both these corporations share similar origin stories whose founders boasted strong personalities together with determination, passion and relentless drive both whom willed their business ventures to the top of their respective industries. In certain jurisdictions the concept of corporate personhood could not ring any truer than within these two corporate instances. That is not to speak towards their legal rights, instead, it speaks to the personality which has been transposed, scaled and grafted from the founders and embodied into the corporate culture, psychological behavior, and physical infrastructure of their respective businesses. The term embodied also suggests that a corporation is analogous to a human [body] with tendencies and dispositions dictated by subjective interpretations and physical expressions indicative of their ethics.

Steve Jobs and Terry Gou breathe and live through their respective corporations and their personalities were manifested in the physical and psychological landscape of their campuses. This paper will examines these manifestations as a verification of Job’s and Gou’s persons on the landscape and in turn, render each of them onto the landscape through corporate personhood. Furthermore, the paper will also suggest the reciprocal effectual affect is true. Since both men are shrewd pragmatic practitioners, their empirical tendencies, will allow their corporate bodies’ reactive convulsion to its environment to be precedents and indicators for their own practices. That is to say, they are naturally empirical and are receptive (having the ability to learn and change) to the actualities they see played out.
